Gender Equality Plan 2026–2028
Adopted by the Management Board of Tyche Institute MTÜ on 2 August 2026. Version 1.0 is effective from adoption through 31 December 2028.
Commitment
Tyche Institute is committed to equal treatment, a safe and respectful working environment, fair access to participation and leadership, and research that considers sex and gender where they are relevant to the research question, data, methods, risks, or effects.
The plan applies to the Board, employees, researchers, fellows, contractors, volunteers, recruitment and appointments, Tyche-managed research, events, partnerships, services, and public communications.
Four implementation building blocks
- A formal public plan adopted by top management.
- Dedicated implementation time and access to gender-equality expertise.
- Privacy-safe personnel data, indicators, monitoring, and annual reporting.
- Documented awareness raising and training for staff and decision-makers.
Thematic measures
The plan covers work–life balance and organisational culture, gender balance in leadership and decision-making, recruitment and career progression, integration of the sex/gender dimension into research content, and measures against gender-based violence and sexual harassment.
Monitoring and reports
Tyche will maintain an internal indicator baseline and publish a privacy-safe implementation report by 31 March each year for the preceding calendar year. Small-cell suppression and qualitative explanation protect people from identification in a small organisation.
The first report is due no later than 31 March 2027. Public reports and the text of superseding plan versions will remain accessible from this page; signature-bearing administrative records will remain private.
